Bubbles 'n Ice Opens Today, New SoBe Mex Opens "Soon"
Just as Little Italy and Chinatown intersect in New York City, bubble teas and Italian ices are coming together at Bubbles 'n Ice. Some 30 flavors of the former (including fruits, teas, and specialties like pb & jelly) and 60 of the latter (cotton candy, dulce de leche, etc.) will be on the menu at this brand new spot. How new? Grand opening is today, April 15. Free samples will be given out all day and through the weekend.
3061 NE 163 St., North Miami Beach
Also, a new Mex restaurant -- or else a chile pepper store -- is coming in off of Lincoln Road and Meridian Avenue in South Beach (a quirky, out-of-the-way intersection in an alley). Construction isn't very far along, but besides the main dining room it looks like there is going to be some sort of open counter seating. Tacos to go? We shall see.
