Bay, Beer, Trains and Freaks: Food Trucks This Weekend
Name your poison this weekend, because food trucks are out to serve you a side of entertainment with your street food.
This weekend's food truck roundups offer high entertainment value with little out of pocket expense. Choose from viewing a beautiful sunset on the bay, hanging out in an antique railroad car, celebrating Oktoberfest, or watching an old time sideshow with a twist.
We're into the free HellzaPoppin Sideshow Revue at the Seminole Casino Hollywood on Saturday, starring the Lizard Man -- just an average guy who's had 700 hours of tattoo work, filed teeth, a split tongue and some subdermal teflon implants done to make him look more and more attractive to you and less to your parents, should you choose to present him as your date for the holidays.
Other acts include a one-armed burlesque dancer, sword swallowers, a
wolf-boy (Team Jacob in the house anyone?), and Sylmenstra (who does
freaky things with whips and electricity).
revue has three free shows at 6 p.m., 8 p.m. and 10 p.m., so you have
plenty of time to grab a nosh at one of 20 food trucks, find a place to
squat and enjoy some old-fashioned carny-style freakiness.
