B2 Miami Downtown Hotel On Biscayne Boulevard Launches Yesterday To Packed House
Last night, just across the street from the Miami Heat's home court, guests were treated to dine and drink at the B2 Miami Downtown Hotel's grand opening party.
The hotel, geared towards both business and leisure travelers, boasts a modern décor free of frills but high on style. Don't expect fluffy robes and a stocked mini bar, but do expect decent rates, contemporary design, views, and comfort.
Food was provided by Biscayne Tavern, which also serves as the in-room dining service.
VIP guests noshed on a variety of food from three primary food stations. Custom made salads were popular with offerings such as kale, field greens, sundried tomatoes, shrimp, chicken strips, and bacon.
A taste of turkey before thanksgiving.
Staff members sliced thick pieces of turkey, smoked brisket, and baked ham at the carving station which was decked out with small rolls of bread and a variety of toppings for those wanting to make their own sandwiches.
A third serving station rounded out the offerings, serving macaroni and cheese, ceviche, eggplant fries, shrimp and grits, lobster rolls, and a variety of other cold and hot items.
Ceviche boats traveled fast.
Guests mainly chatted in the B2 lobby and Biscayne Tavern's bar, while others got funky upstairs with whisky punch and a giant photo station. Everyone seemed to dig the music which was a variety of Latin, pop, funk, and R&B.
Located on the corner of Biscayne Boulevard and First Street, the building is within walking distance to the Port of Miami, the American Airlines Arena, and Bayside Marketplace, and a short ride to the Adrienne Arsht Center.
