All-Natural Evos Coming To Pinecrest This Weekend
Airbaked fries at Evos.
Fast food is about to be evo-lutionized in Miami. This weekend Evos, an all-natural chain (with locations in California, Florida, Georgia and North Carolina), debuts in Pinecrest.
The rstaurant makes American diner staples like hamburgers, shakes and fries healthful. Well, as nutritious as French fries can be. Instead of deep-frying their food, Evos uses a process called airbaking. No grease, no oil. Airbaking guarantees at least fifty percent less fat than conventional methods. The burgers are composed of hormone-free, naturally raised beef and the shakes use organic milk and sugar. Even the salads have organic field greens in the mix.
Other menu items that intrigue us are the chipotle turkey burger, spicy Thai chicken wrap, Mediterranean summer salad, organic cappuccino shake, airbaked chicken strips, and veggie chili. All of the ingredients are either organic or hormone and antibiotic free.
The company lives the green lifestyle too. The stores use eco-friendly materials like Energy Star qualified commercial equipment, compact fluorescent lighting, recycled wood panels, biodegradable plastic bags and recycled paper. Even their ads are cute. One slogan boasts: "Our cows don't do steroids; they're into grass."
For opening weekend (May 21-23), Evos is giving away free hamburgers. Print out this coupon for the complimentary grub. Short Order is super excited for Evos' supposed "guilt-free" French fries. Looks like we will be road tripping to Pinecrest this weekend.
