In exchange, shoppers save big bucks on all the food items they need — albeit without the stress of having to choose from an entire aisle of potato chips. Aldi carries all the staples required for dinner — including a good variety of both conventional and organic produce, beer, and snacks.
Although still considered a no-frills approach to food shopping, Aldi's new North Miami Beach location has made some vast improvements regarding shopper convenience, including natural lighting, an expanded cooler section, and a line of healthier, premium products such as organic produce, USDA Choice beef, gluten-free items, and the brand's SimplyNature line of products that are free of certified synthetic colors, partially hydrogenated oils, and added MSG.
In addition, Aldi now accepts credit cards, something it didn't do in the

To celebrate the opening of the North Miami Beach store, Aldi will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 8:45 a.m. Thursday, May 26. The public is invited to attend. Following the ceremony, the first 100 shoppers will receive a golden ticket, each containing Aldi gift certificates of various amounts.
