35. Lamb Sliders at DiLido Beach Club
The lamb sliders ($8 each) at the Ritz-Carlton South Beach's ocean-front cafe, DiLido Beach Club, have a slightly elevated sense of extreme snack appeal. It starts with a generous smearing of creamy whipped feta, a few leaves scattered leaves of baby spinach are stacked on top of that, and then grilled peppers marinated in balsamic vinegar are draped over the patty. It's a fantastic mix of toppings to complement the lamb version of a traditional beef slider. The whole thing sits perched on a puffy bun that's nice and soft in the center, yet holds up it's form because of a toasted exterior; you'll have bun and burger between your fingers until the very end. All the ingredients are of the highest quality, which is why they may not be complicated, but these little burgers are what we order every time. And if you can tear your eyes away from the extremely attractive meat on the table, there's a pretty decent view too.
