35. Crab Cake at La Bottega by Carmen Trigueros
Tucked away inside Calamari Restaurant's compound, La Bottega is a hidden gem of a bistro, serving tapas in a market setting.
The crab cake is more refined than the traditional Maryland variety so don't expect a heavy hockey puck on your plate. Instead, relish in a creamy circle of rich, sweet crab, served with a green onion salad, fresh field greens and house-made remolude. Not your average clam shack offering, this dish elevates the crab cake into a bit of crustacean heaven on a plate.
