4. Spinach, Prosciutto, & Smoked Mozzarella Pie at Racks Italian Bistro
We touted Steve's Pizza as our favorite slice, but Racks stacks up with anyplace when it comes to the wood-or-coal fired pies. The casual Italian bistro, which last month celebrated its first anniversary in the Intracoastal Mall, blisters and puffs its crusts in a flame-licked coal-fired hearth. There are four red sauced and four biancos offered; our fav comes from the latter group, the smoked mozzarella and Reggiano cheeses balanced by sauteed spinach and delicate shavings of ham. This pizza is six square slices of light, bright flavor for $16. Breezy waterfront vista is free.
