100 Favorite Dishes: Bang Bang Shrimp at A Fish Called Avalon

47. Bang Bang Shrimp at A Fish Called Avalon

A Fish Called Avalon recently unveiled a new

menu, but you can bet Bang Bang shrimp is still around -- as it has

been since the South Beach seafood restaurant first opened its Ocean

Drive doors in 1996. Chef Brian Cantrell marinates the succulent

crustaceans in a citrus mojo, sears them on the grill, and plates the

shrimp with grapefruit and orange sections, avocado crema, and

pistachio dust ($14). Add a glass of Chardonnay and -- Bang Bang -- you're

fed.
