Legendary Miami Beach restaurant The Forge is closed for renovations and should be open again sometime between October and December.The Herald reports that owner Shareef Malnik didn't bother to give most of his 100 employees any advance notice that he was ganking the job from under their feet. If true, that's a real shithead move in any economy, worse in this one.The restaurant will undergo a multi-million dollar renovation and emerge with new furniture and new menu.
