Talk about your long weekends. Most of us, although not us at New Times, had a four-day weekend thanks to the Thankgiving holidays. Anybody that was at the Q-Tip concert in Fort Lauderdale
the night before Thanksgiving was treated to one hell of a show! The
music was great, the openers were good, and even P. Diddy was in the
building buggin' out having a good time. I can't complain about Q-Tip's
set one bit. Well, I wish Phife Dawg, Ali Shaheed Muhammad, and Jarobi
were there, but I'll always prefer to see A Tribe Called Quest over
Q-Tip alone.
