  ​The local progressive/rock/whatever trio Jacob's Ladder just does not stop. The last time we checked in with these 23-year-olds, just this past May, they were debuting some new tracks and setting off on a national tour through New England and the South.   Last week I dropped in on Jacobs Ladder at the Dungeon recording studio in North Miami Beach, where they were working on a new EP. (Pictures and video are coming later this week.) The producer on the project is Cyrus Bolooki, drummer of Coral Springs' biggest pop-punk exports, New Found Glory. • Dashboard Confessional Postpones Tour; Show with NFG at Pompano Beach on Nov. 27 is Off

  ​The upcoming national outing headlined by New Found Glory and Dashboard Confessional was going to be a showcase of '90s Broward and Palm Beach County heroes made good. But this past Friday, Dashboard had to suddenly drop off the tour, which was scheduled to land locally at Pompano Beach Amphitheater on November 27.
