  • Nine Inch Nails and Jane's Addiction to play Cruzan Amphitheater May 8

The first US date for Nine Inch Nails and Jane's Addiction has been announced and we in South Florida  are blessed that it all begins here. Thankfully, It's not the first stop in the whole tour, so most of the kinks should be ironed out by the time they both play here (there are 8 shows  before they hit the US).

  • Mötley Crüe Returns to South Florida on Mar. 3

If it seems like Mötley Crüe was just here, well, it's because they were, in July, headlining their Crüefest tour at the Cruzan Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach. They're coming baaaaa-aaaaack, though, as part of their Saints of Los Angeles Tour, and diehard fans will be happy it's a relatively intimate theater show -- at the Seminole Hard Rock Live. Perhaps Tommy Lee will have to readjust the lighting settings of the "Titty Cam" he unveiled in West Palm. According to various ticket sale listi

  • Slayer, Marilyn Manson to Headline This Year's Mayhem Festival, in West Palm Beach Aug. 12

Slayer in 2007Last year marked the inauguration of the Rockstar Mayhem Festival tour, a summer package from the creators of Warped Tour that featured heavier acts. There were some pretty surprising bands on the bill: besides Miami's Black Tide, performers included Mastodon, Underoath, and Of course, if you're a Slipknot fan, that band was the ultimate draw as it celebrated its high-profile return.Besides some really gross on-and-off rain on that boiling July day, the place was packed -- so

Jordan Knight... about 20 years agoIf you're toying with the idea of seeing New Kids On The Block at Cruzan Amphitheatre on May 31, you should buy your tickets this week. For $10, it's harder to find an excuse not to check them out. Seriously, even if you hate boy bands and all they stand for, can you honestly say you wouldn't get at least $10 worth of laughs at the expense of the aging band or their 30 something fans reliving their elementary school days? I thought not. Check out Live Nat

Jane's AddictionA Cabinet of Curiositieswww.janesaddiction.comJane's Addiction is of those bands that, although its members don't especially like each other anymore, wields an influence simply too great to allow the band to stay broken up. The game-changing L.A. quartet that treated alternative rock like heavy metal (and vice versa) is now on its third, maybe fourth, reunion. He's such a baby because the Dolphins make him cry, and he's teaming up with Rascal Flatts in support of his recent (three years is recent right?) turn to country music. Darius Rucker, the lead singer of the on again off again Hootie & The Blowfish, decided to go solo again last year. That worked out pretty well for him, with "Learn to Live" hitting number one on Billboard's Country Albums chart. Hootie is technically still together, but with his solo career blowing up like it is, it's h

NKOTB - so close, yet so farOh, this brings back memories of 1990, when New Kids tickets were impossible to get and the meanest girls in elementary school bragged when they could snag 'em. Tickets for NKOTB's 2009 comeback tour were easier to buy, and lawn tickets for their Cruzan Amphitheatre date were going for a promotional price of $10 at one point.
