The 15th-annual New Times "Original" Beerfest returns on Saturday, March 31, 2012, from 6 to 11 p.m. to Huizenga Plaza, 32 E. Las Olas Blvd. Beerfest, the oldest and largest in the area, offers guests craft beer, live music, televised basketball games, good food, and great times. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Children's Starlight Foundation, whose mission is to improve the quality of life for children with chronic and life-threatening illnesses and life-altering injuries by providing entertainment, education and family activities that help them cope with the pain, fear and isolation of prolonged illness.
