Miami Photographer Documents War-Torn Mosul (Warning: Graphic Images)

A week after Iraqi prime minister Haider al-Abadi announced Mosul's liberation from ISIS, Miami native Jose Argueta paid a visit to the old city to document the ongoing humanitarian crisis. But in a turn of events, he found himself farther into the "belly of the beast" than he'd ever imagined. Escorted by Iraqi Special Forces to the front-lines of the war where fighting continues, the 29-year-old freelance photographer realized that declarations of victory and liberation may have come too soon.
