When Wynwood Brewing Company opened late last year, the owners wanted to meld art and beer together. After all, the brewery is located in Wynwood, Miami's artistic heartbeat.

Luis G. Brignoni, president of Wynwood Brewing Company, stayed true to his family's vision of incorporating art and the art of beer making into their tap room with murals by prominent and up-and-coming artists graving both the interior and exterior walls of the building.

It seems as though the company's vision includes their website. The Wynwood Brewing Company website, in collaboration with its advertising agency of record, A+S Ideas Studio, has just won a gold ADDY award.

The ADDYs are the largest competition in the advertising industry, recognizing creative excellence worldwide. The Miami gala, held yearly by the American Advertising Federation Miami, recognize outstanding achievement in digital and print advertising.

Wynwood's website is worth a visit. Its user-friendly design provides tasting notes, brewing info, and ABV's on all their beers, gives fans a "heads up" on special releases, and shares a calendar of events. The website also tells you where you can find Wynwood's beers around town. The only thing the website is lacking is the ability to actually order a pint of La Rubia while you're sitting at your computer. That would truly be an award-winning feat.
