The first thing White Castle wants you to know is that you needn't miss any of the big game standing over a grill and flipping teeny sliders into mini slider buns. Instead, you can buy a Craves Case of 20, 30, or 100 sliders.
On the other hand, you can go have a White Castle slider any old time. But how often will you and your posse of pigskin-partyers have an opportunity to dip corn chips into a spicy spread made of pureed White Castle hamburgers and hot pepper jack cheese? That's right, not very often. But come this Sunday, you can surprise and delight guests with a big bowl of the stuff. Got your 10 White Castle burgers and food processor all ready? Oh, you're right, there aren't any White Castles in Miami. Don't fret: You'll just have to go to Royal Castle, and those burgers will substitute just fine.
Spicy White Castle/Royal Castle Hamburger Dip
10 White Castle hamburgers
1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese
3 White Castle Düsseldorf mustard packets
1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
9 ounces hot pepper jack cheese, chunked
2/3 cup milk
2 tablespoons parsley flakes
Mix cream cheese and mustard together and spread on bottom of large, shallow serving dish. Spread onions evenly on top of mixture.
Put burgers in food processor until blended and spread evenly over onions.
Cut cheese into chunks, add milk, and melt in microwave for 1 to 2 minutes.
Stir until creamy.
Pour cheese mixture over burgers. Sprinkle parsley flakes on top.
Heat for 3 to 4 minutes on high in microwave or 20 minutes in oven.
Serve with a large bag of tortilla chips.
