Don your best getup for a chance at free eats (and drinks). This swank Pan Latin spot is hosting a costume contest and festive fete. First prize is a complimentary dinner for two (excluding alcohol and gratuity), and second, a complimentary bottomless brunch for two (excluding gratuity). Plus, they'll be serving up The Headless Horseman ($8) -- a drink made with Sailor Jerry Rum, Art in the Age Ginger Snap liquor, pumpkin puree, and agave syrup. The contest is free to enter and runs from open to close on Halloween. And, if you lose, they're hosting a second version on Friday, November 1st.
Lincoln Road's aptly titled steakhouse is offering a freaky al fresco dinner. Menu selections for the three-course meal include burrata cheese with roasted beets; sugar cane BBQ shrimp skewers; pumpkin lobster bisque; herb crusted seabass and bone-in Prime New York steak -- among others. Most importantly, there's a Scary Trio dessert sampler and a Trick or Treat cocktail (yes, there's pumpkin involved). The dinner is $95 per person. Taiko drummers, Cirque X dancers, and staff dressed as Geisha girls equals one hell of a cosplay soiree. The comic book-inspired party will include free Japanese candy, a costume contest and cocktails like the smoked pumpkin caipirinhas ($12) -- Mezcal, cachaça, pumpkin purée, and muddled lime. Party entry is free and runs from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m.
This Italian spot on Lincoln Road offers prime people watching. Their four-course, prix fixe dinner will feature seasonal goodies like pumpkin gnocchi with gorgonzola and walnut sauce and pumpkin pie. The dinner is $95 per person outside, $75 per person inside. If you're feeling up for Argentinian eats this Halloween, set up shop for Maya's three-course supper extraordinaire. There's pumpkin soup, salmon tartare, roasted sweet sea scallops, and "evil Halloween" cheesecake on the menu. The dinner is $59.95 per person. Call 305-538-0058 for reservations.
