The Grind, Miami's home grown burger competition is coming soon and all over Miami, people are salivating with the promise of eating burgers from over two dozen participating local restaurants. The key word here is local. Unlike some other burger events in the Miami area, the Grind features burgers from south Florida restaurants only. That's a lot of local flavor packed into one night.

On March 31 at 7 p.m., 30 local restaurants will serve up their best

burgers for your eating pleasure at Wynwood's Miami Entertainment Complex.

Restaurants battling for the coveted golden grinder awards have finally been announced. They are:



In addition, the winners of the Short Order Backyard Burger contest, Ryan Blanski and Roly Masferrer, will grill their burgers alongside the above restaurants in fierce combat.

Since the time of the caveman, mankind has enjoyed ending his brontoburger meal with a little sweet treat. That quaint custom, also known as dessert, will be celebrated here with finishing touches provided by:
