It seems that whenever the South Beach Wine & Food Festival has a party at the Herzog & de Meuron parking garage at 1111 Lincoln Road, there's someone hanging by their feet.
Last year's Let Them Eat Cake event hosted by Emeril Lagasse and Martha Stewart featured lovely ladies pouring champagne while suspended from chains. The champagne-toting gal was back to celebrate Party Impossible. This time, she has someone join her above the crowd -- none other than party host Robert Irvine.
For the party, Irvine agreed to complete a series of challenges, each a little crazier than the next. The challenges included making ceviche in five minutes....with ingredients found in a ball pit, and making a large hoagie while suspended upside down from his ankles. The crowd went insane each time the burly Food Network star hustled to complete these challenges.
Between these challenges, guests were treated to an extra large buffet by Epicure Gourmet which included jumbo shrimp, crab claws, Ruben sliders, and an assortment of desserts.
Champagne flowed freely, as did specialty cocktails created for the occasion by mixologist Tony Abou-Ganim. Let's put it this way: it was impossible to top this party for energy and antics.
Just hanging around.
Tone Abou-Ganim's glasses are empty. Guess he needs a refill.
Fishing for ingredients in the ball pit.
