Tickets for the 2009 South Beach Wine and Food Festival go on sale this coming Monday, October 27. We mention this because in past years tickets have sold out very quickly -- especially for the more popular events, such as Rachel Ray’s Burger Bash ($200), Bubble Q ($350), and Wine Spectator’s “Best of the Best” ($350), which takes place this year in the newly renovated Fontainebleau, features an incredible array of nationally renowned chefs and vintners, and is, in this writers’ opinion, the highlight of the whole shebang. For these particular events, October 27 marks not only the first day to purchase tickets, but possibly the last day. So if you hesitate and get locked out, don’t say we didn’t warn you.
The festival takes place February 19 through 22. Tickets can be purchased by going online, or by phone at: 877-762-3933.
