The folks at Red Robin once combined beer into a milkshake, but now they are giving something else a try with the Mango Moscato Wine Shake.
Developed by Red Robin's master mixologist Donna Ruch, it combines Alice White Moscato (roughly 10 percent alcohol-by-volume) and SKYY Infusions Moscato vodka (35 percent abv) with mango purée and creamy vanilla soft serve. The new milkshake is available until September 1 at Red Robin restaurants nationwide.

The success of the Sam Adams Oktoberfest beer milkshake inspired Ruch to develop her newest creation.
"We've capitalized on the growing popularity of wine and the Moscato varietal over the past few years, delivering fresh flavors and out-of-the-box mixology just in time for spring," Ruch says.
The new milkshake sells for $7.49, about $3 more than a pint of draft beer or a glass of wine at Red Robin. The wine shake will be available at all 496 Red Robin restaurants. Because the shake contains alcohol, you must be 21 years old to buy it.
