Joel and Leticia Pollock, the husband-and-wife team behind Wynwood's Panther Coffee, will debut their "coffee trike" tonight at the Biscayne Triangle Truck Roundup. Panther specializes in small batch coffees, roasted and ground at their Miami headquarters. We could tell you to look for them on the grass, but you'll probably catch the scent of their coffee's aroma before you even see the trike. The Panther people will be serving french pressed and cold brewed coffee in three sizes; 8 oz. ($2), 12 oz. ($3), and 16 oz. ($3.50). They also sell whole bean coffee at $13 for a 12-oz. bag.
Red Koi, the new food truck owned by the popular South Miami restaurant of the same name, will also be rolling into BTTR for the first time this week.
The BTTR, held adjacent to Johnson & Wales University at 127th and Biscayne, features live music, free parking and plenty of grass to spread out a picnic blanket. Trucks serve dinner from 5:30 to 10 p.m.
