Former Top Chef contestant Micah Edelstein announced she'll be opening a new restaurant in Miami called neMesis Green Urban Bistro and Chef Oscar del Rivero is nearly ready to open the doors to his new Peacock Garden Café.

Since Peacock is coming in a month and neMesis still doesn't have its floors poured yet, we'll start with the former. Located at 2889 McFarlane Road in Coconut Grove, Peacock is named for the family that settled in the area circa 1870. Del Rivero, the chef behind Talavera and Jaguar Ceviche Spoon Bar and Latam Grill, also in the Grove, excitedly told us at the Coconut Grove Arts Festival yesterday that the eatery will have a lush garden where guests can dine and chefs can pick fresh ingredients. Plus she wrote in an e-mail: "We have opened up the entrance wall and the kitchen wall, too, and moving into the finish of the plumbing and electric this week. Edelstein commissioned some of the upstairs artists to do installations for the bistro. "Menu will be small, changing nightly so you never know what you will find, and we are putting a garden outside to grow herbs and veg," she wrote.

The restaurant's name is from the chef's favorite line from Snatch, wherein Bricktop says: "Do you know what nemesis means? A righteous infliction of retribution manifested by an appropriate agent, personified in this case by a horrible cunt: me!" We think more of Edelstein, but...
