Mondays aren't so bad when you have unlimited charcuterie to look forward to. Such is the case every week at DB Bistro Moderne till further notice, which means you can indulge in chef's house-made pâté, terrines, and whatever else he's whipped up with a glass of wine.

Be sure to save some room for the rest of the week, though, because Piripi now serves a three-course prix-fixe lunch menu, and Devon Seafood + Steak is going shucking crazy with an oyster battle this Wednesday. But if there's any day you ought to leave your house and absolutely get your food and drink on, it's Thursday, when Uvaggio will host its first sommelier slam, with Michael's Genuine Hospitality Group wine director Eric Larkee pouring vino alongside head "Wine-O" Heath Porter out in the front of the house and the Cypress Room's Roel Alcudia heating things up in the kitchen.

Week starts now!

Monday

DB Bistro Charcuterie
Just how much charcuterie do you think you can eat in three hours? Find out at DB Bistro Moderne's Charcuterie Mondays from 5 to 8 p.m. when the wine cave transforms into cured-meat heaven. Think boards on boards on boards of house-made pâtés, terrines, and a rotation of every type of charcuterie under the sun. And because nothing pairs with cured meats quite like wine (and maybe some cheese), the $35 unlimited offering comes with a glass of vino. (You might want to order some cheese on the side.) Cheers to that.

Tuesday

Pre-Fixe Lunch at Piripi
Whether you're in dire need of a new lunch spot, somewhere to take clients, or delectable Spanish fare, head to Merrick Park's San Sebastian-inspired eatery, Piripi. Helmed by El Bulli veteran Najat Kaanache, Piripi has introduced a three-course prix-fixe lunch menu for $25 that highlights the chef's favorite dishes. On it: Andalusian gazpacho (a must) or a whimsical salad, a choice of entrée (seared tuna, "happy chicken," or rice of the day), and Kaanache's signature fried crema catalane with a touch of elderflower. Buen provecho.

Wednesday

Oyster Battle at Devon
If you like slurping, take a trip out to the suburbs for Devon Seafood + Steak's heated evening of shucking between executive chef Rod Chitikov and sous-chef Drew Thomason. What's in it for you? Each chef will create three craft oyster dishes, each of which will be paired with a handcrafted cocktail. The cost is $55 (excluding tax and gratuity) per person, and the battle begins at 7 p.m.

Thursday

Sommelier Slam at Uvaggio

What do you get when you put two of the city's top enophiles pouring their hearts out over a three-course dinner at the most underrated wine bar in Miami? Uvaggio's first sommelier slam! Vino maven Heath Porter will go pour-to-pour against Michael's Genuine Hospitality Group's wine director, Eric Larkee. Guests will be tasked with the difficult choice of drinking two wine pairings per course, which will be a collaboration between Cypress Room executive chef Roel Alcudia. Then they'll select a winner, who'll have bragging rights till the next slam. The price is $75 per person and includes a charcuterie-and-bubbles reception and a dessert finale (excludes tax and gratuity). Tickets are limited to 25 seats, so get them ASAP.
