The weekend is finally here. It's spring. The kids are out of school.

It is definitely time to drink. And at the Kendall Ale House, you can not only imbibe, but also ingest.

There's an old rule for judging restaurants - if the parking lot is full, eat there. And this place packs 'em in without giving up its Cheers-like friendliness. Appetizers include nachos, wings, and spinach dip - but are all executed well and packed with tongue-tingling flavor.

Be pleasantly surprised by their just-right Jambalaya swimming with shrimp, sausage, chicken, peppers, tomatoes, onions, and rice ($10.95). Or try their sinful (in a good way) seafood combo ($12.99); it comes with the usual suspects - shrimp, fish, clams, and scallops - with a side of coleslaw and hush puppies. All are perfect accompaniments for their plethora of foreign and domestic draft beers or a game, of any variety, playing on one of their many, massive flat screen TVs.
