Ikea Miami's mega 416,000-square-foot quasi-city opens this summer in West Miami-Dade and the store, known for its Swedish meatballs and easy-on-the-wallet furniture with next-to-impossible names like Sniglar and Magnarp, is introducing itself to Miami by handing out...cafecito.

We kid you not. The Swedish furniture store is rolling out the Ikea cafecito truck for a little "cafecito time" starting Saturday, July 12. Over the next two weeks, the truck will tour Miami, giving out free coffee and a sneak peek of some Ikea furniture.

Which brings us to the big question -- why not just hand out meatballs and lingonberry jam? Or even Swedish Fish?

In any event, the truck will make three scheduled stops in our fair city to caffeinate your bodies as you pick out your new bedroom.

On Saturday, July 12, from 6 to 11 p.m., drop over to the Wynwood food truck lot at NW Second Ave. and 24th Street for some free coffee before heading over to Galleria Gum (2219 NW Second Ave.) for a preview of the 2014 Ikea PS collection.

On Sunday, July 13, the cafecito truck visits Peacock Park in Coconut Grove at 3 p.m. for a little java. While you're there, check out some Ikea-themed sand sculptures at Cocowalk.

On Sunday, July 20, the cafecito truck makes a stop at Marlins Park's west plaza from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Pick up a free coffee before the game and register to win a $1,000 Ikea gift card.

Of course, Ikea is a food lover's paradise with each store stocked with thousands of inexpensive kitchen items, a marketplace filled with imported items, and freshly baked cinnamon buns as a reward for navigating the giant yellow store:
