The Miami winter season has finally arrived and locals have started to taunt their northern friends. It's time of to show off those scarves, jackets, and Uggs that have been accumulating dust for the past seven months.

It is also an opportune time to start dining al fresco -- in the middle of the street.

Returning November 7, Giralda Under the Stars in Coral Gables will set up hundreds of tables on Giralda Avenue, and over a dozen restaurants will be allowed to serve patrons. The event will be held every first Friday of the month, from 7 p.m. to midnight through March 2015.

The event is sponsored by Zacapa Rum who will once again have a bar on site for free rum samples as well as Bailey's Irish Cream. In addition, there will be live music and art performances. A couple new elements this year include a pre-event Giralda Culinary Tour on November 1. Participants of the tour will be able to sample five of the participating restaurants in one night for $69 through Miami Culinary Tours. There will also be a new theme for the event each month, which will include art, music, family night, romance, and the grand finale.

Some of this year's participating restaurants include Divino Ceviche, Miss Saigon Bistro, Pete's Authentic Cooking, the Bar, the Local Craft Food & Drink, and Threefold Café.
