Want free tequila? No, that's not a trick question.
Last night, Herradura Tequila invited lovers of booze and art to participate in the second-annual Miami Barrel Head Art program. Three out of five Wynwood bars and restaurants unveiled tequila barrels turned into unique works of art by one of their employees.
Last night's unveiling included Wood Tavern, R House, and Shots Miami. The tequila crawl continues tonight with Pride & Joy and the Butcher Shop as they unveil their artistic talents in a special event including a margarita DYI station, interactive painting, and gratis tequila.

R House's resident artist, Janet N. Mueller, unveiled her abstract barrel.
Interactive painting stations allowed happy hour participants to get in on the colorful fun. You can also attempt to make your own Herradura-inspired artwork tonight.
Miami native, musician, and all-around adventurer, as well as Wood Tavern manager, Andreas Wong Chong unveiled this Florida-inspired barrel of a gator wearing glasses and getting ready for the weekend we presume.
This margarita station let you do it yourself. Margaritas that is.
Daniela Carolina Cordoba is part of the creative and entertainment team at Shots Miami. Her work has appeared in Festival of Souls, Miami Fashion Week, Covergirl: Vixen Workout, and now on the Herradura barrel with some vibrant cara de muertos.
The fun continues tonight at 5 p.m. when the Butcher Shop's Nicolas R. Gilbert (a well-known Miami muralist also known as NRGi) unveils his barrel. Each location has also crafted up a specialty complimentary cocktail utilizing Herradura to go with the happy hour. The Butcher Shop's Herradura swig mixes the tequila with strawberry puree, muddled cucumber, lime, simple syrup, and bitters.
Then at 7 p.m., it's on to Pride & Joy where William Rivera will showcase what he's come up with while you take down the Winner, Winner, Chicken Dinner cocktail (Herradura, anchor eyes, ancho chili syrup, fresh jalapeño, lime and orange).
Regardless of whether you partook in last night's festivities or going tonight, anyone can vote by liking their favorite tequila barrel turned into art from now through November 12. The winning artist will get $500 and the respective venue will host a Big Barrel Art Finale on November 19 at 7 p.m.
And yes, there will be more tequila.
