Fourth of July can either be the most memorable night of the year, or your biggest headache. Every year in Miami, numerous dazzling displays of patriotism explode in the horizon, while hoards of people crowd the streets in a drunken stupor. Not to be forgotten, are the essential hometown touches: home-style barbecue, chips and dips and of course, a nice cold one.

Some people tend to skip out on the dining portion of this colorful evening. This year, some of your favorite eateries are throwing some pretty impressive outdoor shindigs.


5. Jungle Island (Adults $25, Children $15, with Military ID $10)
Family friendly entertainment, with special appearances from your kids' favorite wilderness friends, starts out our list at number five. Your price includes views of the city of Miami fireworks, family friendly entertainment and all you can eat barbecue. Just in-case you were wondering, park admission isn't required to spend the evening here.

4. Rusty Pelican ($65)
This South Florida staple is offering a rooftop party with views that are unmatched by the competition. High atop the second floor, guests can enjoy unobstructed views of the "back" of a glittering downtown Miami skyline. Enjoy a magnificent fireworks show, while you feast on your certified "All-American BBQ". &Your price includes unlimited beer and wine, but be sure to ask about the red, white & blue cocktail.

3. The Standard ($22-$26)
True to it's name, this South Beach landmark sets the standard in whimsical, bohemian relaxation. It's sprawling back patio restaurant, The Lido, is literally so close to the water, that you can feel it's waves crash under the wooden plank floors, as you feast on your meal. They will be offering both lunch and dinner specials, including barbecue chicken, slaw, potato salads and smoked trout.

2. The Clevelander
All day is a party at The Clevelander, located on the busy, famed stretch of Ocean Drive. Happy-hour priced drinks will be served as early as 11a.m., and the party will continue well into the late evening. The second floor party spot will be host to a front-row seat of the Miami Beach fireworks, barbecue and private liquor bars. Fireworks start at 9 p.m.

1. Bella Beach
Put your best white outfit on, and entertain your inner yuppie during Bella Beach's Fourth of July celebration. Located behind the Trump International Beach Resort, this self proclaimed "closest thing to Saint Tropez" is hosting a Fouth of July party for the upper echelon daiquiri sippers in all of us. Bocce ball tournaments, paddle board relay races and barbecue inspired menu selections grace your presence at this all-day, highbrow affair.
