Feverish Ice Cream and Gourmet Pops are opening a shop in midtown (3252 NE First St., Miami). The ice-cream and gourmet pop manufacturer, which began selling ice pops out of a neon-green Scion a few years ago, is finally setting up a permanent spot.

Feverish's Felecia Hatcher tells Short Order that the shop will open in two phases. Phase one will see the shop selling ice pops and ice cream beginning Saturday, December 1, while construction is finishing on the manufacturing aspect of the operation behind the scenes. When the project is completed, the midtown location will also serve as a popsicle factory.
The pops are made using organic cane sugar and agave, and most are vegan-friendly. Ingredients include fresh fruit, local herbs, and, in some blessed cases, booze.
Each week, the Feverish shop will offer 25 varieties of pops,
including its alcohol-infused pops. Pops will range from $3 for
regular frozen treats to $3.75 to $4 for the alcoholic variety. New to the store
is a variety of frozen beer and wine pops. Hatcher also plans on
offering ice cream, shaved ice, pastries, and dry sodas such as the "crazy
ginger ale" she found.
Patrons can purchase the pops to go
or enjoy at one of the 18 indoor or outdoor seats. The shop will feature
karaoke two nights a week and music by local artists. "We really want
to showcase the cool things that are going on in Miami," Hatcher says.
