It's not often that you encounter a farmers market on the 11th floor of a downtown office building, but there it was at the entrance to the Miami Tower's Sky Grille. Granted, it is just one table and there are no farmers standing behind it. Most of the stuff probably isn't even grown locally, as it comes from the company that provides the Sky Grille cafeteria with its produce. Still, the nice crisp greens, ripe mangos, and Yukon Gold potatoes (in baskets under the table) provide, if nothing else, visual reassurance that Sky Grille is using fresh ingredients (it just so happens to be one of the coolest places to grab breakfast or lunch downtown). And if you work in the area and want to take a few potatoes back to the office microwave for a bizarre mid-afternoon pick-me-up, now you know where to go (it is set up Monday through Friday).
