Details and drawings have emerged on Michael Schwartz's restaurant  to be located at Paraiso Bay in Edgewater, appropriately named Paraiso Bay Restaurant and Beach Club.

The restaurant and beach club  was announced a little over a year ago, with the successful Miami restaurateur saying,  "the Edgewater community is one of Miami's hidden gems. Paraiso Bay will bring something truly unique to the mainland and deserves a waterfront restaurant to match. We're going to do something really special here."

On Tuesday, the Related Group released details on the restaurant, which will feature white walls, wooden accents, concrete tile floors, and marble bars, according to The Real Deal.
New York design firm, Meyer Davis, has been tapped to work on the two-story restaurant and beach club, which will feature an open kitchen and bar on the first floor and a private club with outdoor patio and pool on the second floor.

The firm specializes is hotels and restaurants and has designed many notable Miaim spaces, including Andrew Carmellini's The Dutch and 1 Hotel South Beach.  According to co-founder Will Meyer, the new Michael Schwartz concept will be, "a place you could go all day long."

Michael Schwartz says of the venture, â€śWill [Meyer] and Gray [Davis] are extremely talented designers but mostly it's exciting to work with people who understand restaurants and how they work," Michael says. "They create spaces with functionality and flow in mind. One of the most important elements to me is how it all works together as a whole."

The restaurant is part of Paraiso Bay, a massive undertaking of twin 53-story towers, each housing 325 residences on five acres of tropical gardens. Amenities include a zero-entry circular pool, tennis courts, a private dock, and a beach. The project, located at 600 Northeast 31st St., is scheduled for a 2016 completion date.
