The sixth annual Coral Gables Restaurant Week returns with more than two dozen of Coral Gables finest restaurants offering specially priced prix-fixe menus.
The only problem with this great event? It's gotten too darn big for just one week, so this year, the promotion has expanded to three seven-day bacchanals of good food and great deals. From June 10-30, dine at any one of the participating restaurants for a meal deal, with each eatery offering at least a 20-percent savings off their regular menu. Just make a reservation at any of the participating restaurants and be sure to ask for the special restaurant week menu. If you like numbers, that comes out to over 20 restaurants offering at least a 20 percent discount in about 20 days. Coincidence? We don't think so.
On Thursday, June 6, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., the Westin Colonnade Hotel will be filled with good food, good wine, and great music when Coral Gables Restaurant Week kicks off with the fantastic Taste of the Gables, where you can sample food from restaurant week participants and vote for your favorite dish.
Tickets are $25 in advance, $35 at the door, but Short Order readers can get $5 off an advance general admission purchase by using code MNT by May 31 with your online order.
A limited number of VIP tickets are also available for $50 in advance, $65 at the door (while supplies last).
