It seems like the Burger Beast never stops. If he's not eating his way through the best burger joints in town, he's working on his Burgies awards or putting high-profile food people through the Grinder.

Now he's organizing a fest within a fest. The Beast is selecting the best of South Florida street food vendors to bring their delicious eats to the Fall for the Arts Festival at the Arsht Center.

While the Beast couldn't divulge who is confirmed so far, you can count on finding 15 to 20 vendors including Miami's pioneer food trucks, newcomer mobile eats, barbecue from Broward, mobile and not mobile Mexican, and others. "I don't want to limit it to burgers and trucks. I'm trying to get a wide variety of food vendors," the Beast tells Short Order.

Stay tuned for participating vendors, and put September 12 in your calendar as the day to eat your way through the best of South Florida street food.
