The first Brews and Bellies craft beer tasting event held at The Federal Food and Drink Provisions is sold out, with over 120 RSVPs. However, if you RSVP now you might get lucky.

And don't worry, if you miss this one there will be more because this is the beginning of a series that will be held on the third Thursday of every month.

If you did not drink your fill of local craft beer at Brews and Bites, this is the event for you. It's hosted by Miami's wicked beer chicks --The Craft Brewjas and the Miami Malt Bomb, AKA Patrick Lunn.

As of now, the list of beers include Dogfish Namaste, Rogue Hazelnut Brown, Julian's Hard Cider, Loose Canon Double IPA, Breckenridge Agave Wheat, a keg of special brew from Miami's Gravity Brewbar and The Craft Brewjas' very own chai porter.

Food is also included: buffalo style pork bellies and a fine assortment of nuts, and The Federal's menu will be passed around. Happy hour never sounded so good.

RSVP to [email protected] with "Bellies & Brews" in the subject line. You're going to need to supply your credit card information to secure a spot. Don't worry, the card will not be charged at the moment of RSVP.

The festivities run from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m., so get on down, arrive early, meet the Brewjas and the Malt Bomb, and continue indulging in local craft beer.
