According to Local10.com, Tomica is expected to appear in court on Wednesday, August 7, to plead guilty to DUI manslaughter and leaving the scene of a crash resulting in death charges. A Miami-Dade Circuit judge must then accept the deal, which would have Tomica serve four years in prison as a youthful offender, followed by two years of house arrest and 15 years probation.

Sources say the plea deal would have to be approved immediately, as Tomica will turn 21 on Thursday, August 11. After that date, she will no longer be eligible to be sentenced as a youthful offender. If the plea deal is not accepted and Tomica is tried as an adult, her combined charges carry a maximum sentence of 30 years.

Tomica will then serve as a witness to a civil lawsuit filed against Nikki Beach Club, where she worked as a bartender.

Tomica was driving home after her shift at Nikki Beach when she struck Riccioletti while the chef was walking to work. She then fled the scene of the accident, but was followed home by Jairo Fuentes, a Good Samaritan who called 911, while following Tomica to her apartment.

After her arrest, toxicology reports found Tomica had a blood alcohol content of .225 -- three times the legal limit.
