Alphabite, the new Miami Culinary Institute's food truck, will make its first official appearance at Taste of the Grove this weekend.

The student-run truck was out during the unveiling of the Miami-Dade College school's new building in downtown yesterday. Andrew Alvarez, a student who was handing out dulce de leche lollipops, said the truck's menu will change constantly and will be themed around different cuisines or ingredients. This weekend you can expect Vietnamese-influenced dishes.

Taste of the Grove takes place this Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Peacock Park. Admission is free. Follow @alphabitetruck for updates on the truck.
