Looking to celebrate July 4 early, complete with booze, barbecue and fireworks? Hollywood's Seminole Paradise and New Times will host the Seminole Hard Rock Rock 'n' Roll Beer-B-Que on Sunday, July 3 from 5 to 9 p.m.

Thirty of South Florida's top barbecue restaurants will compete in categories like "Best Ribs," "Most Unique" and "Best Overall." A panel of local celebrity judges will choose the winners.

Tickets regularly cost $35. You can get them for $15 today only.

The restaurants will also vie for the title of "Fan Favorite." This means free, unlimited samples for attendees. And yes, also free, unlimited beer (even better, there's a combo of popular and microbrewery brands). All we expect in return is that you vote, though we may forgive you if you're too full to move.

And since this massive cookout would be lame without music, Seven Mary

Three is headlining the night, which will also feature performances from

other local bands.

The night will end with a "musically

synchronized fireworks fantasy show," just to make sure you remember

that you're celebrating Fourth of July and not Pig-Out Sunday.

Tickets

for the New Times Rock 'n' Roll Beer-B-Que can be bought online at seminoleparadise.com/beerbque). You can get them for $45 at the door. A

limited number of prepaid VIP tickets will be available for $70 and

offer early admission, seating in an air-conditioned VIP tent, access to

an open bar, catered food from Renegade Barbeque Company, beers from

Famosa, DJ entertainment plus full access to the event.
