60. Steak Empanada at La Estancia Argentina

There are empanadas all over this city, from just about every country in the hemisphere. None, however, are plumped fuller with succulent nubs of grilled skirt steak than those found in the display cases of La Estancia Argentina. The crust is better than most too, gorgeously bronzed and flaky as Andy Dick. Price for most of La Estancia's empanadas are $1.50 apiece, but this "premium" pie goes for $2.50. Spend the extra buck.
