University of Miami, the alma mater of Vinny Testaverde, Gino Torretta, and Ken Dorsey, hasn't exactly been a powerhouse quarterback school in the past couple of years.
Jacory Harris is the latest QB hope for the Hurricanes, and even if he doesn't have a jaw-droppingly spectacular season, he, at best, better have an injury-free one. That's because two Miami back-up quarterbacks announced they'll search for new schools.
Taylor Cook and Cannon Smith plan to get out of town. That leaves a freshman, A.J. Highsmith, and a senior walk-on, Matt Perrelli, as Harris's backups.
This is all, of course, after the dramatic exit this spring of QB Robert Marve.
Even if Cook's and Smith's names registered in your mind as "Who?" and "Who?" it's not exactly good news that if anything happens to Harris they'll be putting "Da U" in f*cked.
