Fabolous flaked out on his Mansion performance on Thursday, October 11.

Last night at Mansion, you would have thought Pamela Anderson was pole dancing naked as the Thursday night party crowd packed in tight, it looked like a hurricane shelter. In fact, the weeknight party-goers waited for hours and shelled out thousands for VIP access and bottle service for a live performance by Def Jam’s Fabolous, which was anything but. Mansionites sipped Patron, Moet and Grey Goose, waiting for more than three hours after the scheduled performance had girls kicking off their heels, pouting and exiting. The fluke wasn’t accompanied by any announcement or mention of cancellation, entertaining wishful thinking into the early morning hours. It should have been obvious by the crowd of unfamiliar not-so-VIPs, as the local hip-hop scenesters were nowhere in sight. Was it just a scam for Mansion to make some fast cash, or did the street dreamer just pass out in his limo from Panama Red paralysis?
