We're very tempted to make a "looking for a last minute Christmas gift" joke in the lede, but, whoops we just did.

But really, if you've got $1.75 million, you could drive into the New Year in the very same white Ferrari that Sonny Crockett used to on Miami Vice.

The white 1986 Ferrari Testarossa is on sale on eBay for that kingpin price until January 7th. It comes with just 16,000 miles on it, and complete records of service and maintenance and documentation of its use on the show.

According to Fox News, the owner found out that the car had been sitting in a Miami garage since 1991 and decided to buy it up for himself three years ago. If this was just any 1986 Ferrari Testarossa it would go for about $90k, but the owner clearly thinks the car's historic past can get him more.

Indeed it was one of two white Testarossas used during the filming of the series. Producers had originally used a replica car, but Ferrari found out and decided to supply the show with two real ones (one the condition the original replica was destroyed on screen).

The other car sits at an automotive museum in Fort Lauderdale and after selling for $750,000.
