Some whiny Celtics fans are complaining that their team got robbed in the first two games of their playoff series against the Heat. Whatever. They're Boston sports fans. They're apt to whine. Though, the team did literally get robbed in Miami last month. According to reports, someone had boarded their bus during their late April regular season game against the Heat and stolen money and valuables from the bags of players and coaches.
"It was pretty bad," a source tells Yahoo! Sports. "A lot of stuff, a lot of money."
The bus was apparently inside of the American Airlines Arena at the time of the incident.
The Yahoo! Sports story doesn't cite anything but anonymous sources, but we wouldn't be shocked if it was true.
This is Miami, and if it's not nailed down, it's up for grabs. Though, the Celtics are presumably responsible for hiring their transportation personal and making sure that their players' belonging are protected.
That April game was the first time the Heat beat the Celtics all season, and Miami has dominated Boston so far in the second round of the playoffs.
