Your grandma probably has an email address, even if it is only to forward you weird chain letters. Everyone uses email these days. Everyone but Rick Scott, apparently. The man has asked constituents not to email him because he gets "embarrassed" by the form of communication. For a governor who has held town halls on Twitter and Facebook, that seems awfully fishy.

"If you have any questions, don't hesitate to send me [a letter] -- I don't have email," Scott told a group of state workers at the Department of Elderly Affairs. "It's easier if I never get emailed. I get embarrassed by it that way. It's not as easy to communicate."

How peculiar. The governor hasn't hesitated to communicate with constituents through Facebook and Twitter events. He also used social media during his campaign and once owned a portion of a social networking site aimed at Latinos.

The governor also sent possibly unethical emails to state workers.

Plus there is a page titled "Email the Governor" on his official website.

Oh, wait, this is also the governor who doesn't seem to love the idea of the state's Sunshine Laws, and emails would leave an electronic paper trail that the media could easily obtain.
