Dear CNN,Please refrain from having Rick Sanchez cover natural disasters. We here in South Florida all remember his over-the-top hurricane coverage. Then when covering tsunami warnings for Hawaii he asked, "Nine meters in English is what?" Please refrain from having Rick Sanchez cover natural disasters. We here in South Florida all remember his over-the-top hurricane coverage. Then when covering tsunami warnings for Hawaii he asked, "Nine meters in English is what?" Now, he does not understand volcanoes.

While covering that volcano in Iceland, Eyjafjallajokull, he wondered if Iceland was too cold for volcanoes. We understand boys from Miami may not understand volcanoes, we don't even have hills here, but, uh, yeah, they have little to do with climate. We are just grateful he didn't try and pronounce the name. [via Wonkette]
