We still don't have much of a clue as to what David Beckham's Miami MLS team will actually look like, but we do know who won't be designing their kits: Victoria Beckham.
Granted, the former pop singer turned designer is known more for cocktail dresses and purses than mesh shorts, but the New York Daily News' Confidenti@l column just wanted to let us know it will probably be Adidas who is responsible for the uniform designs and not Posh.
From the column:
Victoria won't get the job "even though she is one of the world's leading designers," a source close to Becks told Confidenti@l. "It has surprised many in Miami and among his investors that he would not ask his wife to design the uniforms. Not only would it be the most stylish kit ever, but it would help sales."
Well, we're not sure about "world's leading designers," but sure. Adidas, a longtime sponsor of Beckham's, will likely design the kits.
The column does add one new interesting bit of info though: "insiders say the uniforms could have a vintage Manchester United look." That team is known for its bright red jerseys.
