Oneal Morris, the backstreet unlicensed "doctor" who injected substances like Fix-a-Flat and cement into her patients' back sides, has plead guilty. In January she'll surrender and serve 366 days for one count of practicing medicine without a license. Of course, Morris still faces far more serious charges, including one for manslaughter after one of her patients turned up dead.
Morris was originally arrested back in November of 2011 after the Department of Health connected Morris to victims who had gotten sick and needed medical treatment after those shady injections. Shortly after she proclaimed, "I really am innocent or whatever."
However, back in 2012 Morris was arrested again. This time on manslaughter chargers after one of her patients turned up dead. That case is being tried in Broward County Court, and is unrelated to the charges she plead guilty to today in Miami-Dade Court.
