The American Institute for Economic Research found -- through a complicated set of statistics involving academic environment, quality of life, and professional opportunities -- that South Florida is the tenth-best large metro area in which to attend college. Of course, only 21 metro areas in America qualify as large, by having more than 2.5 million residents.
