Here are some quick guidelines on masturbation etiquette: Don't masturbate at work. Don't masturbate at school. Especially don't masturbate at work if you work at a school. Don't masturbate in your work uniform. If you don't want anyone to know of your dirty masturbation habits, don't record it. Above all, do not allow yourself to be recorded masturbating while in your office at a school while wearing your police uniform.
Steven Rodgers, the school resources officer at Miami Edison Senior High, has resigned after a local TV station got hold of video of him masturbating in his office.
WSVN claims an anonymous tipster sent the news station the video. Reporter Carmel Cafiero confronted him in his patrol car, but Rodgers refused to speak on camera. The video, however, has now been viewed by Miami-Dade Schools Police Chief Ian Moffett.
The chief believes the video was recorded in Rodgers' office at Miami Edison but thinks it was taken over winter break while students were not in school.
At one point during the video, a female's hand can be seen, but police believe the hand belonged to an adult woman.
"This is a very serious incident. The school district, along with the police department, uh, we do not condone this type of behavior, and I'm sure FDLE will also take a hard look at this," Moffett said.
Rodgers was removed from duty and shortly thereafter resigned. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement is now investigating. The agency could revoke his certification, and if it does, Rodgers would no longer be able to work as a police officer in Florida.
